Building an Environment that Fosters Connections at DCD Connect Live

At DCD Connect Live, the who’s who of data center and cloud infrastructure met at Times Square! Annually bringing together esteemed professionals from across the industry to discuss emerging trends and technologies, this year’s event at New York City Marriott Marquis on 27–28 March 2023 featured inspiring keynote speeches, highly engaging panel discussions as well as invaluable networking opportunities.


Our Role

Exponents was tasked with creating an effective experience for attendees by providing turnkey conference booth solutions within limited space and budget – delivering 49 sponsor booths that effectively commanded attention while supporting sponsors’ objectives.

The Challenges

Space and budget constraints: Arranging 49 booths to fit within the allocated space and budget while still providing an unforgettable experience and high visibility to each sponsor.

Logistics, shipping, and installation: Ensuring smooth coordination, on time delivery and installation of the booths at the best cost, as well as dismantling the booths after the event.

Maximizing sponsor visibility: Creative booths that cut through the noise in busy conference hall, ensuring that sponsors receive maximum exposure from attendees.

Coordinating with sponsors: Managing individual communication with each sponsor to address their specific requirements, including graphics production. Handling approvals from the venue and general contractor.


Our Solutions

We designed three types of booths accommodating the space constraints:

Custom printed graphics:  We connected with individual sponsors to understand their graphic needs and printed custom graphics for each booth to enhance their visual appeal and help them make it big in the crowded conference hall.

Efficient logistics management: We managed everything from the shipping, installation, and dismantling of the booths to ensure a hassle-free experience for the sponsors.

Project management: We worked directly with the sponsors to address their specific requirements, streamlining the process for the conference organizers. This direct interaction fostered clear communication and enhanced our ability to meet each sponsor’s unique needs.

The Results

Exponents’ Confexpo solution got amazing results – our remarkable booths made a huge impression, turning heads and providing an impressive platform for sponsors such as Schneider Electric, Kohler, Legrand and CBRE to showcase their offerings. Furthermore, streamlined communication between Exponents and each sponsor gave the conference organizers peace of mind throughout planning – it was a sure-fire success!
