Position: Large Format Printer Operator

  • Must be familiar with RIP software like the Fiery Command workstation or something similar.

Position: Graphics Customer Liaison

Location: San Diego, CA

Job Description: We are hiring for a Graphics Customer Liaison. This is NOT a Graphic Designer position. We are looking for someone with a Graphics background to interface with our customers regarding the graphics that will be appear in various forms on their tradeshow booths.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients about their graphic designs, changes and deadlines via email and phone calls.
  • Communicating with our project managers, production crew, and other internal staff about client graphics and deadlines.
  • Delivering graphic files to customers according to critical timelines.
  • Preflighting graphics to ensure they are clean and will print at scale correctly.
  • Reporting possible issues to the client to adjust graphics as needed.
  • Trouble-shooting and creative problem solving when the need arises.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graphics experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken
  • Ability to multitask between different projects
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to work as part of a team

Position: Assembler / Booth Builder (QC)

Location: San Diego, CA

Job Description: The person will be responsible to supervise the building, install and packing of high – quality trade show exhibits and experiences using various types of materials according to set up plans and booth design. Ensure QC team is fully staffed and on task and schedule with current deadlines. This description may be modified as determined appropriate to meet changing business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the Install and dismantle of entire exhibits and displays
  • Staging and packing trade show exhibits and related materials
  • Assembling, finishing, maintaining, and repairing all components of a booth, including furniture, displays, etc.
  • Operating a forklift and other industrial equipment when required
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned: QC inspection, shipping/receiving, pickup/delivery, housekeeping
  • Observing shop safety and keeping your work area tidy
  • Confirming quality and time expectations prior to construction

Required Qualifications:

  • Has experience assembling larger-scale structures, like furniture, displays, and booths
  • Experienced with tools (manual and power)
  • Is conscientious about the quality of their work
  • Has knowledge of best practices when it comes to shop and warehouse safety
  • Is industrious and keeps busy
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team

Position: Foreman Quality Control

Location: San Diego, CA

  • Supervise and assist with the Install and dismantle of exhibits and displays.
  • Stage and pack trade show exhibits and related material
  • Use of manual ad power tools and finishing supplies for repairs, fabrication, maintenance, and installation of exhibits
  • Operate a forklift and other industrial equipment when required
  • Use WMS to facilitate specific instruction to complete task and provide detailed documentation for all project and expectations
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned: QC inspection, shipping/receiving. Pickup/delivery, housekeeping
  • Review shop drawings for constructability and product performance prior to fabrication
  • Observe shop safety and assure your area is clean and organized
  • Confirm quality and time expectations prior to construction
  • Collaborating with Project Managers, Designers, and other builders to interpret and find solutions of fabrication challenges
  • Set up and operate, with a high degree of safety, various machines and hand tools
  • Responsible for finishing applications through hard or mechanical application of various finishes to include paint, stain, dyes and clear coat
  • Construct crates that ensures the safe transportation of product.
  • Responsible for the repair of interactive exhibits, experiences, displays etc
  • Work with project management to resolve project concerns and/or problems that may arise during the project development and build phases.
  • Ensure the production of projects are within constrains of timelines and budget
  • Communicate status of projects consistently to Shop Foreman, Project Managers, and leadership
  • Prototyping interfaces, finishes, fabrication methods and other forms of creative
  • Ensure all QC Team members are on task per work schedule
  • Delegate assignments from Project Manager and direct work force to project as needed
  • Ensure all protocols and processes are followed from project start to finish
  • Ensure all QC books are current with Project Manager
  • Must be able to make a manifest
  • Must be able to take client ready photos
  • Must know our lights and transformation
  • Must know how to pick crates to use for your piece count
  • Must know how to pack up a booth safely
  • Must be able to walk booth with management
  • Must be able to do the weights and dims paperwork

Position: Full-Time Carpenters/Furniture-Cabinet Makers for Immediate Hire

Location: San Diego, CA

Job Description: If you have experience with the building and fabricating of exhibit booths, cabinets, or furniture, then this is the job for you!

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with manual and power tools
  • Experience with finishing supplies for repairs, fabrication, maintenance, and installation of exhibits, cabinets, and furniture
  • Knows how and when to effectively use fasteners and framing connectors
  • Can operate a forklift and other industrial equipment when required
  • Can read blueprints/shop drawings to determine job specifications, constructability, and product performance to determine most efficient building plan
  • Knowledge of shop safety best practices
  • Keeps an organized and tidy work area for safety and efficiency
  • Has excellent time management
  • Can collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and other builders to interpret and find solutions for fabrication challenges.
  • Can assess and perform repairs needed on any existing exhibit, display, cabinet, or component of a booth
  • Creativity to prototype interfaces, finishes, and fabrication methods for challenging builds
  • Can pull a job by reading the sales orders
