Federal Realty is a company focused on delivering long-term, sustainable growth through investing in densely populated, affluent communities where retail demand exceeds supply.  They have increased their quarterly dividends to their shareholders for 51 consecutive years, the longest record in the REIT industry.

Our Role

Federal Realty Investment Trust, the conference organizer, partnered with Exponents when planning this groundbreaking event. Our task was to handle booths for their sponsors, managing all aspects related to shipping, logistics, installation, and dismantling.

The Challenges

In order to continue their growing success in the Real Estate industry, Federal Realty opted to participate in the ICSC New York Deal Making Show, the largest networking real estate event on the East Coast.

Having experienced trade show trade show booth design in the past, they re-elected Exponents to create a visually appealing and interactive booth for attendees.  The unique 10×50 booth space allotted Exponents the opportunity to get creative.

Not only was it imperative to draw the attention of the 10,000 attendees, but to keep them in booth long enough to start conversation and network was another vital component for success.

Our Solution

Eager to create an exceptional experience for Federal Realty, the Exponents’ team set to work brainstorming the best way to conquer the tasks presented.  Through diligent communication and dedication from the partnering companies, progress was quickly accomplished.

The initial size challenge proved as an aid in creating alluring and lustrous backlit graphics that lined the back of the booth.  The impressive wood vinyl storage room was disguised effortlessly, branded by the 3d luminous company logo, proceeded by a reception counter with a unique covering allowing an in between space where client materials could be stowed out of site.

The custom counters and bar height tables allowed for attendees to come and go as they pleased without feeling cramped.

The Results

Federal Realty experienced another successful real estate show with the assistance of a beautiful booth that created not only a vision to remember but also a positive experience for attendees.

It is our goal at Exponents to ensure that not only was Federal Realty satisfied with the end result of the project but the entire process leading to that point.  Through the design, production and project management of the booth communication with Federal Realty and consideration of their desires is always a major factor.
