IFCO Systems Wins Best Island Booth at GFPS 2025

Where the Grass Was Greener — IFCO Systems Wins Best Island Booth at GFPS 2025

When vision meets craftsmanship, something extraordinary takes root.

At The Global Produce & Floral Show 2025, Exponents partnered with IFCO Systems to create a 20’ x 20’ island booth that redefined how sustainability is experienced on the show floor. The result? A captivating space that earned the Best Island Booth – Business Solutions Award, recognizing innovation in design, storytelling, and environmental consciousness.

A Space Inspired by Connection and Community

The exhibit drew inspiration from the warmth and camaraderie of a Biergarten — a place where conversations flow as naturally as the surroundings. Designed and built by Exponents, the booth invited visitors to pause, engage, and experience sustainability in motion.
Every element had purpose. Natural materials, soft greenery, and rustic textures reflected IFCO’s circular economy mission — a vision rooted in renewal and responsibility. From the tactile finishes to the ambient lighting, each detail worked in harmony to create a space that felt authentic, inviting, and alive.

Storytelling Through Design

At the heart of the exhibit stood the SmartCycle interactive storytelling wall, showcasing IFCO’s reusable crate model — a closed-loop system where sustainability drives efficiency. Surrounding this feature, open seating zones encouraged genuine dialogue about responsible innovation, while natural tones and organic elements grounded the design in IFCO’s brand essence.
Visitors didn’t just see sustainability — they stepped into it. The booth transformed brand purpose into a sensory journey, blurring the boundaries between message and experience.

A Collaboration Rooted in Shared Values

“Thank you to everyone on the team who helped bring our vision to life! We couldn’t have done it without you,” shared the IFCO Systems team. “This recognition reflects our shared belief that design can make sustainability tangible.”
For Exponents, the achievement reinforces what drives their work — transforming ideas into immersive environments that make brands not only visible, but memorable.
“Awards like this remind us that great design isn’t only about what you see; it’s about what you feel,” said Aashu Kedia, Account Project Manager at Exponents. “We’re proud to have helped IFCO turn sustainability into a sensory experience that resonated deeply with visitors.”

Where Purpose Shapes Experience

As the applause fades, what remains is the story of partnership, creativity, and purpose. Together, IFCO Systems and Exponents demonstrated that when sustainability takes center stage, every detail tells a story — one where the grass was, indeed, greener.
